Drecus told me that She, Frederica Archibald was born to Thomas and Elisa (Brown) Hanley. Elisa's grandmother is Mariah Brown (who may have been born into slavery). I suggest she may have been a slave because Drecus was born in 1909 and slaves in Nevis were freed in 1838.
