Born January 23, 1909, Frederica is originally from Church Ground in Nevis West Indies. She is also affectionally called "Drekus", "Feddie" and "Aunt Feddie" by those who were closest to her. She worked as a house keeper until she left Nevis in 1968.She moved to St. Thomas USVI with her Daughter (Sylvia James) and grand children. She always proclaimed "No one was keeping her children but her". Drekus was the best care giver, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend anyone could ever have! She loved to cook and was excellent at it. She made everything from mouth watering family meals to candies and treats. She took pride in her garden of fresh vegetables, herbs, spices and fruit trees. She loved to sing, dance, recite bible verses, nursery rhymes and have fun. She was a joy in everything she did. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other extended family and friends. Today, she lives in the hearts of the friends and family she touched for the cetury she was on this earth. She is seated in heaven now in her father's arms, watching over all who knew and loved her. She lives in daily activities, fond memories and will NEVER be forgotten. Her legacy will live on in everyone she touched, in each of her children, children's children and generations to come. She did not expect praise for her extraordinary life. It was her duty as a servant of God to serve others. Everyone should be so lucky to be touched by this angel on earth. Her gift was to live life to the fullest. She challenged everyone to have a pure and caring heart. She demanded discipline, humility and gracefullness of heart. For her love, life and laughter to God be all the glory. In the early morning of October 6, 2009 she left her earthly body and her spirit moved to its eternal home in heaven. Until we meet again oh angel on earth........
